Our Community Values
The Seeyatrip community is built on four core values:

- Inclusion β A platform where every traveller β regardless of gender, nationality, ability, religion, or background β feels welcome
Seeyatrip has a particular commitment to solo female travellers and women-led travel groups. Any behaviour that targets or demeans travellers based on gender will be treated with zero tolerance.
Content Standards
Content submitted to the Seeyatrip community β reviews, photos, trip reports, forum posts, itineraries β must meet these standards:
Content Must Be
- Based on genuine personal travel experiences
- Accurate and not intentionally misleading
- Original or properly attributed where sourced elsewhere
- Relevant to travel, destinations, or the booking experience
- Written in a constructive, respectful tone
Content Must Not Be
- Defamatory, abusive, threatening, or harassing
- Sexually explicit or inappropriate
- Discriminatory based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, or sexual orientation
- Promotional advertising or spam (unless in designated partner sections)
- Fake, incentivised, or paid reviews not disclosed as such
- Copyright-infringing β only use images you have the right to share
- Political campaigning or unrelated to travel
Hotel & Supplier Reviews
Reviews on Seeyatrip must be:
- Written by travellers who have actually completed the booking they are reviewing
- Submitted within 90 days of the travel date
- Based on the stay or service as experienced β not on external factors beyond the property's control
- One review per booking per user
Hotel and supplier responses to reviews are welcome and encouraged. Responses must address the review professionally and not disparage the reviewer.

Accounts found to be submitting fake reviews will be permanently banned and relevant bookings may be cancelled without refund.")}Seeyatrip reserves the right to moderate, edit for length, or remove reviews that violate these guidelines. We do not remove reviews simply because a property finds them unfavourable.
Group & Community Travel
Seeyatrip's community travel features allow users to coordinate group trips, share itineraries, and connect with other travellers. When using group features:
- Group organisers are responsible for communicating accurate trip information to participants
- Participant data shared within groups is governed by the Privacy Policy
- Commercial group leaders or tour operators must disclose their commercial status
- Group participants may not be added without their consent
- Financial arrangements within groups (cost splitting) are between participants β Seeyatrip is not a party to those arrangements
Prohibited Behaviour
The following are strictly prohibited and will result in enforcement action up to and including permanent account ban:
- Harassment, bullying, or threatening messages to any user or staff member
- Sharing personal information of other users without their consent (doxxing)
- Sexual harassment, unsolicited explicit content, or predatory behaviour
- Scamming, phishing, or fraudulent behaviour targeting community members
- Coordinated inauthentic behaviour β fake accounts, review rings, ban evasion
- Content that endangers traveller safety β false emergency information, dangerous travel advice
- Sharing content involving minors in an inappropriate context
- Promoting illegal activities in any destination
Reporting & Content Moderation
Every piece of community content on Seeyatrip has a Report button. Use it if you encounter content that violates these guidelines. Reports are reviewed by the Seeyatrip Trust & Safety team.
Seeyatrip's moderation process:
- Report received β acknowledged within 24 hours
- Content reviewed by a human moderator within 48β72 hours
- Action taken: no action / content removed / warning issued / account suspended / account banned
- Reporter notified of outcome within 7 days
For urgent safety concerns, email grievance@seeyatrip.com with "URGENT" in the subject line.
Appeals Process
If your content was removed or your account was actioned and you believe the decision was in error, you may appeal within 14 days of notification:
- Email grievance@seeyatrip.com with subject line "Community Moderation Appeal β [your username]"
- Include the specific content or action you are appealing and your reasons
- A senior moderator will review the appeal within 7 business days
- The decision of the senior moderator is final within Seeyatrip's internal process
Traveller Safety
Seeyatrip takes traveller safety seriously. We maintain:
- A curated hotel verification process β properties must meet minimum quality and safety standards to be listed
- A 24/7 emergency support line for travellers in distress (contact details in your booking confirmation)
- Partnerships with local emergency services information for key destinations
- Travel advisory integration β high-risk destination warnings are displayed at the point of search
