Scope & Application
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all bookings made through seeyatrip.com or the Seeyatrip mobile application, including hotels, holiday packages, visa services, and ancillary travel products. Flight bookings are governed by the operating airline's fare rules and applicable regulations.
The policy effective from 13 May 2026 supersedes all prior versions. Seeyatrip reserves the right to update this policy; the version applicable to your booking is the version in effect at the time of booking confirmation.
Hotel Cancellation Policy
Fully Refundable Bookings
Where a rate is marked Free Cancellation on the booking page, cancellations made before the specified deadline will receive a full refund to the original payment method. The deadline is stated on your booking confirmation email and in your booking dashboard.
Partially Refundable Bookings
Some rates carry a partial cancellation penalty. The specific penalty (e.g. one night's charge) will be clearly displayed before payment is confirmed.
Non-Refundable Bookings
Non-refundable rates are marked Non-Refundable at the time of booking. No refund is payable for cancellations or modifications to non-refundable bookings. These rates are typically offered at a discounted price to reflect the restriction.
Modifications
Date changes and occupancy modifications are subject to hotel availability and may result in a rate difference. Contact support@seeyatrip.com with your booking reference to request a modification.

Flight & Transport Cancellation
Flight bookings are governed by the fare rules of the respective airline. Seeyatrip does not set airline cancellation or change fees. The applicable refund (if any) is determined by:
- The fare class purchased (Economy Flex, Economy Saver, Business, etc.)
- The operating airline's cancellation policy at the time of booking
- Applicable aviation regulations (DGCA in India, ECAC in Europe, etc.)
Seeyatrip charges a processing fee for flight cancellation requests in addition to any airline-imposed penalties. This fee is communicated at the time of cancellation request.

Holiday packages bundling hotel, flight, and/or experiences are subject to combined cancellation terms. The most restrictive component's policy generally governs the overall refund.

Honeymoon packages, customised itineraries, and packages involving non-refundable flights or cruises may carry different cancellation terms, which will be specified in the booking confirmation.
Visa Services Refund Policy
Visa service fees paid to Seeyatrip cover document review, application preparation, and submission assistance only. They do not cover government consulate fees, which are non-refundable in all cases.
- Visa Approved: No refund applicable β service delivered
- Visa Rejected: Seeyatrip service fee may be refunded (minus processing costs) if the rejection is due to a documented error by Seeyatrip. Consulate fees are non-refundable.
- Application Not Submitted: Full refund of Seeyatrip service fee if cancelled before submission
- Withdrawal by Applicant: No refund once application documents have been collected and reviewed
How to Request a Refund
- Log in to your Seeyatrip account and navigate to My Bookings
- Select the relevant booking and click Cancel Booking
- Review the applicable cancellation terms and confirm the refund amount displayed
- Submit the cancellation request
- A cancellation confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address within 1 hour
- Refund will be credited to your original payment method within the timelines below

Disputes & Chargebacks
If you have raised a refund request and have not received a resolution within the stated timeline, you may escalate as follows:
- Email grievance@seeyatrip.com with your booking reference and original support ticket number
- Our Grievance Officer will respond within 48 hours and aim to resolve within 15 business days
- If unresolved, you may approach the relevant consumer forum under the Consumer Protection Act 2019
Seeyatrip requests that customers exhaust the internal dispute resolution process before initiating a chargeback with their card issuer. Chargebacks initiated without prior escalation to Seeyatrip may result in account suspension.
No-Show Policy
A no-show occurs when a traveller fails to arrive at the property on the check-in date without prior cancellation. In the case of a no-show:
- The full booking amount is charged for non-refundable bookings
- A minimum of one night's accommodation charge applies for refundable bookings
- The remaining nights may be cancelled and the balance refunded per the rate policy, subject to hotel confirmation
- No refund is available for no-shows on non-refundable rates
If you are delayed due to a documented travel disruption (cancelled flight, medical emergency), contact support@seeyatrip.com as soon as possible. We will liaise with the property on a best-efforts basis.
